So for my final project I decided that I wanted to reverse engineer a pencil sharpener.
Here is a close up shot of all the parts that move when the pencil sharpener is being used.
Looking at the outside you don't get a true idea of how complex the Pencil sharpener actually is.
Here is a rear view of the pencil sharpener which shows the motor and one of the four gears. A few parts are made transparent so that it is easier to see the important parts.
To the left is the exploded view of the pencil sharpener and the parts list. I ended up having to model a total of 22 different parts to complete the assembly.
